Facing the World Cup 2006, Asics-owned Onitsuka Tiger launched a new version of the football shoe INJECTOR DX. We created what might have been the world’s first real-time online karaoke competition, with the football fan song Lovely Football, written in Japanese English and sung by the OT staff and founder.
‘Lovely Football’ was featured in over 100 blogs and publications, with a total reach of 2.6 million (before the launch of YouTube!), and the shoe sold out in Europe. Amazingly, you can still check out the site here.
